Large curving sculptural ceramic vessel made by hand. Designed to stand alone as a sculptural focal point or use it for minimal floral arrangements.
About the Biomorphic Series : The series embody raw and organic abstraction. This approach draws on inspiration from mid-century modern design and organic yet architectural forms, finding inspiration in the organic architecture of Savin Couelle and by the great modernist sculptors. The Biomorphic series consists of a range of vases in different shapes, designed to take on a life of their own as both functional vases and sculptural objects. Each vessel has a unique expression and is slowly crafted by hand in Hanna’s studio in Rio de Janeiro.
Materials: Casted white stoneware with a layer of liquid porcelain slip that is fired in a powdery bone-white. Interior glazed in clear gloss, exterior left unglazed.
